Personal Note
Dear WomenServe Team,
My name is Annu Kanwar, and I come from Kansingh ki Seed. I am the eldest of three siblings, and I lost my mother seven to eight years ago. Since then, my father has been the only support for our family, working tirelessly in the fields.
Growing up, I had to care for my younger sister and brother while continuing my education. Balancing school, household duties, and personal challenges was difficult, and there were many moments I wondered if I could manage it all.
Joining TAC has truly been a turning point in my life. Through Wall Art training, I have not only learned new skills but also discovered confidence, purpose, and the ability to support my family. The guidance and mentorship at TAC have helped me explore my creativity and see possibilities for my future.
Today, I can support my family while pursuing my first-year graduation in Bap, 18 kilometers away. Your support has given me hope, courage, and the belief that I can create a better future—not just for myself, but for my siblings and community.
I am deeply grateful and will continue to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact in my family and village.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ms. Annu Kanwar
