Dr Dinesh Kumar Tyagi (Retd.IAS (President))
Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, a 1981 batch IAS officer from the Manipur - Tripura Cadre, has held various significant positions in both State and Central Governments. His illustrious career spans several decades and includes pivotal roles such as District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura District, Managing Director of Tripura Road Transport Corporation, and Chief Executive Officer of Tripura Horticulture Corporation Limited, which he founded.
Dr. Tyagi also served as the CEO of the Tripura Autonomous District Council, Secretary for the Education and Tribal Welfare Department in Tripura, and Director in the Ministry of Finance, Banking Division
As Custodian under the 1992 Harshad Mehta Scam, he managed the sale of assets involved in the scam.
After his tenure as Principal Secretary of the Finance Department in Tripura, Dr. Tyagi joined IL&FS as CEO for the CSC project. In this role, he conceptualized and designed the CSC scheme, supporting its implementation in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
Dr. Tyagi continued to lead CSC SPV as CEO/MD until September 2022. Under his leadership, the CSC network expanded to over 5.5 lakh centers across India, delivering comprehensive G2C and B2C services, thereby promoting digital inclusion and empowerment.
